"The Digest of the Motion
Bertram Grassby
This firm, UMUsual handwriting, with its odd letter formations, plainly shows the creative, inventive talent of the writer. The t-bai-s are stroiifj, often placed a-top of the letter, betraying a little snspicion, a desire to substantiate everything by unassailable facts.
Mr. Grassby is also very fond of nnisic; is intensely psychic, as his detached letters within words indicate, and has ardor and enthusiasm, although his emotionality is controlled by common sense. His backcurling terminal strokes and handwriting in general place him among those who are discriminating, cautious, shrewd and resourceful.
Margaret Shelby
Another very unusual handwriting, full of odd twists and curls, with separated letters and d and t strokes descending below the line, indicating that the writer receives vivid impressions and is not easily argued out of her convictions. She is inclined to extravagant exjienditures, is very kind-hearted, sympathetic and unselfish, has intensely high ideals, is fastidious as to clothes and friend.ships. home atmosphere, service, etc. Her hand indicates love of humor, an inclination to occasional depressions through her sensitive nature, which feels slights and indifference moie than those who are less blest with psychic powei and emotionality. Miss Shelby has every asset for the successful actress, the wavy, dipping lower form of letters, touching at various heights an imaginary base line, the great loops of vivid imagination, the ca])itals of the ambitious worker, the invention as viewed in strange letter formation, and the abnormally high d and t of the ultra-conscientious striver for success, justice and self-improvement.
George Hakathom
A mighty odd bit of writing, ambitious, impulsive and emotional, as befits the actor. Mr. Hackathorn writes a heavy, down-bearing t-bar indicating resistance, even obstinacy on occasion, the courage of his convictions, stick-toit-iveness.
He has a fine sense of form and proportion, Avould have made a skillful surgeon if he had chosen to forsake the screen and stage. This young man writes letters sharply pointed at top and bottom, Avhich indicate that he focuses well, is keenly observant and critical, and consequently diagnoses shrewdlj\ Moreover, he is intuitive as Avell as a logical reasoner, hence his character dissections or portrayals will be accurate. He is unselfish and generous, rather extravagant, and while not apt to acquire property through slow saving, will easily make money. Avill attract good social and financial conditions through psychic forces and personal magnetism.

Thelma Percy
Miss Percy writes very tall, looped, easy-flowing letters, so that at first glance one appreciates the fact that she is fond of movement. She should be an easy dancer, graceful, facile. All her actions are deft. She is blessed with histrionic and music ability, has lots of wit and comedy in her makeup, a.s the peculiarly formed y shows. When one upper stroke of y is higher than the other, you may rely on the writer's powers of mimicry, comedy and love of humor. The hooked nose on her small letters indicates a "nose for news" — so that Miss Percy is very observant and progressive and seldom misses an opportunity to learn something. She is not concentrative — large handwriting always shows a dislike for slow plodding and study — but she acquires much through experience and observation. She hates to be ruled, but is good natured and generous, very ardent in affections, given to great changes of mood.
