Per capita expenditure on motion picture entertainment in Canada in 1969 was $6.01, up by 2.2% from 1968. Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island and Saskatchewan recorded decreases of 12.2%, 1.2% and 2.5% respectively, while all the other provinces recorded increases. The largest increase (15.6%) occurred in the Yukon and Northwest Territories, the smallest (0.4%) in Quebec. Increases for the other provinces may be calculated from the following table.
