TORONTO CONFERENCE ELECTS 1976 SLATE During their second day of deliberations on Tuesday, November 18th at the Park Plaza Hotel in Toronto, and preceeding a luncheon hosted by the Distributors’ Association of Canada, the exeuctive and branch representatives of the Motion Picture Theatre Associations of Canada, met briefly and elected a new slate of officers for the ensuing year. Elected to asecond term as president was Paul Morton of Winnipeg. Maurice Phaneuf of Montreal was elected vicepresident, and Frank Lawson of Toronto, secretary-treasurer. Directors for 1976 are ... The new president is Vic Beattie, Vice-President Herb Mathers, Treasurer, George Heiber, and Executive Director, Millard Roth. Frank Mancuso stepped down after a two year term as president.
