35mm: For a Quebec-produced film regardless of length, per film. For a French-language film $2,50 per film of 500 feet or less and $2.50 for each additional 500 feet or less. For a film dubbed in French or with French subtitles, $4 for a film of 500 feet or less and $4 for each additional 500 feet or less. For other films, $5 per film of 500 feet or less and $5 for each additional 500 feet or less.
16mm: For a Quebec-produced film regardless of length, $1 per film. Fora French-language film $1.25 per film of
500 feet or less and $1,25 for each additional 500 feet or less.
For a film dubbed in French or with French subtitles, $2 for each additional 400 feet or less. For other films, $2.50 per film of 400 feet or less and $2.50 for each additional 400 feet or less.
Appeals

For a film dubbed in French or with French subtitles, $8. For a film of 1,000 feet or less $8 and $8 for each additional 1,000 feet or fraction thereof. For other films, $10 per film of 1,000 feet or less and $10 for each additional 1,000 feet or less.
16mm: For a Quebec-produced film regardless of length, $1, per film. For a French-language film $2 per film of 400 feet or less and $2 for each additional 400 feet or less. For a film dubbed in French or with French subtitles, $3.20 for a film of 400 feet or less. For other films, $4 for each 400 feet or fraction thereof. (Without a film exchange licence, all charges including appeals are doubled.)
Exchange Licences
Exchange licences are issues by the Cinema Supervisor Board in Montreal and the annual fees are $205 for 35mm and $12 for 16mm.

NOVA SCOTIA THEATRE LICENCE FEES
Imposed Under The Theatres, Cinematographs and Amusements Act 3. (1) No theatre owner shall give any performance in his theatre unless he holds in respect of the theatre a licence which is in force. (2) The fee payable for any theatre licence shall be $20, effective April 1, 1963. (4) In any theatre where not more than three performances are given weekly one-half the fee mentioned in subsection (2) shall be payable. (5) For licenses issued on or after the first day of July and before the first day of October in any year the fee shall be three-quarters of the yearly licence fee and for licences issued on or after the first day of October and before the first day of January the fee
shall be one-half the yearly licence fee and for licences issued on or after the first day of January the fee shall be One-quarter of the yearly licence fee.
DRIVE-IN THEATRES The fee payable for a Drive-In rheatre licence shall be $20, effective April 1, 1963.
