Three feature films make up the series: ‘Un Royaume Vous Attend,’ ‘La Mouchouanipi’ and Le Gout de la Farine’. They will be presented as a chronicle or history of current events in the James Bay area. The project consists of a series of films dealing with the social and cultural impact of the James Bay hydro-electric development in Quebec. Paul Larose is the producer of these films which will also comprise when edited, 8 short films using Perrault and Gosselin’s stock footage. Quadrant Films is currently shooting a 35mm. feature-length comedy film ‘Love at First Sight’. Written and directed by Rex Bromfield, the film stars Dan Aykroyd and Mary Ann McDonald. Peter O'Brian is producing. The five week shooting schedule takes in Niagara Falls and Toronto. THE FILM LIBRARY The National Film Library of almost 10,000 titles is the primary distribution facility of the Canadian Film Institute. These films are made availabe to Audio-Visual unites at universities, community colleges, museums, galleries and business organizations. Catalogues released by the library cover such areas as the Humanities, Business and Management, Film Study, Sports, the collection of the Canadian Centre for Film on the Arts, Antropology, Psychology, Sociology, Medicine, and every major scientific discipline.
