Film and Photography Grants
Filmmakers may apply for up to $3000 for short, experimental, original 16mm films (full-time students are not eligible). Senior grants up to $10,000 are available to experienced filmmakers. All applications must be supported by a 16mm film.
Writers may apply for up to $3000 to write original, creative material for the screen.
Sponsors of a film festival or seminar may apply for funds to cover fees of visiting filmmakers to participate in workshops and to lead discussion groups, and to cover a portion of administrative costs. Arts/Education Grants
A filmmaker wishing to work in a school is required to conceive the project, find a school and negotiate a fee. The filmmaker and the school make a joint application for a grant of up to three-quarters of the filmmaker’s fee, plus other expenses if the project is more than 75 miles from the filmmaker’s home.
