35mm: Sound films: $6 for the first 1000 ft. of film. $3 for each additional 500 ft. or fraction thereof, Additional prints (one copy of which has already been approved by the Director): $4 for the first 1000 ft. of film. $2 for each additional 500 ft. or fraction thereof.
Trailers: $3 for each trailer of 500 ft. or fraction thereof. Other: $8 for the first 1000 ft. of film; $4 for each additional 500 ft. or fraction thereof.
16mm: Sound films: $3 for the first 400 ft. $1.50 for each additional 200 ft. or fraction thereof. Additional prints (one copy of which has already been approved by the Director): $2 for the first 400 ft. of film. $1 for each additional 200 ft. or fraction thereof. Silent films: $1 for the first 400 ft. of film, and 50¢ for each additional 200 ft. or fraction thereof. Trailers: $2 for each trailer of 100 ft. or fraction thereof. Other: $4 for the first 400 ft. of film. $2 for each additional 200 ft. or fraction thereof.
For the replacement of approval stamps or certificates which have been lost or destroyed in respect of a film already inspected by the Director, or for any alteration that requires a change in the records of the Director: $1 per titled subject.
Theatre Licences General licence — $25 16mm only — $10
No moving picture theatre shall be opened to the public except after a licence therefor has been obtained from the Fire Marshal, which licence shall be kept posted in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises. The licence fees payable under the Fire Marshal Act for moving picture theatres shall be as follows:
(1) If conducted in premises located in the cities of Vancouver or Victoria and not licensed under any subsequent clause of this regulation, provided the licence fee shall not exceed $300 or less than $75, for each seat 20¢
(2) If conducted in premises within the limits of any organized municipality or

corporation townsite, and not licensed under any subsequent clause of this regulation, where the seating capacity does not exceed 300 persons $65
For each seat in excess of 300, provided the fee shall not exceed the sum of $250 15¢
(3) If conducted in premises not licensed under any other clause of this regulation, where the seating capacity does not exceed 300 persons $55

(4) If conducted in connection with a vaudeville or variety show and exhibiting moving pictures as part of the performance:

(6a) If conducted ina park or premises so equipped that moving pictures can be viewed by patrons while seated in motorvehicles parked in an enclosed space commonly known as a drive-in theatre, a fee calculated under sub-sections (2) or (3), as the case may be, based upon the assumption that the seating capacity of the park or premises is 2.5 times the number of motor-vehicles which the drive-in theatre can accommodate.
(7) Itinerant licences for the exhibition of feature films, etc., good only in places endorsed on face of licence:
