CINEPLEX CINEMAS Since the opening of the world’s first Cineplex at the Eaton Centre in 1979, the success of the new multi-theatre concept continues to build with enthusiastic patronnage in each new market. CINEPLEX CONTINUES TO CHANGE Virtually all Cineplex theatres across Canada now feature the finest 35mm projection equipment on the market. Most locations have the capability of running synchronous, thus enabling the presentation of a single print on multiple screens.
