At that time it was a small group of Alberta film production houses which were the Active members, plus various Associate members. Inits ninth year, the Association has grown to 40 active members, 24 corporate affiliates (suppliers, educational institutes, crown corporations, etc.) and 90 associates (individuals who may not be engaged full time in motion pictures but who have a special interest in the industry, or individuals who are employees of active member companies and wish to be personally affiliated with the Association). The total of 165 memberships involves more than 500 people in the Association’s activities. A quarterly bulletin, in English, goes to members and associates.
