Representatives Nat. Ass. Motion Picture Industry Ask Repeal Existing Excise Taxes ILLIAM A. BRADY, PresW ident of the National As sociation of the Motion Pieture Industry and Saul E. Rogers, Chairman of the assoeiation’s Taxation Committee, returned Thursday from Washington where they spent three days conferring with members of the Senate Finance Committee on the questions of taxation and tariff as affecting the motion picture industry. There was evidenced also an earnest desire on the part of the Senators to lighten the industry’s taxation burden if a way ean be found to provide sufficient revenue from other sources to meet the government’s needs.
