Giannini, leading financier and motion picture executive, died in Los Angeles of a heart attack last week at the age of 69. Dr, Giannini, who was formerly chairman of the general executive committee of the Bank of America, acted as president of United Artists from 1936 until 1938. He still held varied interests in the motion picture industry at the time of his death. Dr. Giannini gave up the practice of medicine in 1908 to join his brother, A.
