The survey was (Continued on Page 2) Odeon Theatres Win V-Loan Pennants Reports from Odeon show that theatres in that circuit are whacking out home runs for the Sixth Victory Loan. The Savoy, Hamilton, Ontario, went 94% over its Fifth Loan purchases and won one of the first V pennants in that city. Casino, Halifax, won the fourth pennant to be awarded in that city for 100% staff subscriptions, increasing its buying by 59%. Vancouver district office went 49% over the last Loan. Capitol, Niagara Falls, grabbed an early pennant. And they’re still rolling in. Sixth Loan Drive Keeps Up Pace Film and theatre men are keeping up the same fast pace for the Sixth Victory Loan and results are beginning to show in the rising purchases.
