Nathanson First Assistant Chief Barker at a recent meeting of the committee of 11 which had been empowered to apply for a charter to open a Toronto tent of the Variety Show Burnt Out in Tisdale, Sask. Fire believed to have started in the projection room completely destroyed the Falkon Theatre, Tisdale, Saskatchewan. It was on a Monday night and about 150 persons waiting for the show to start filed out in good order. The theatre seated 425 and was owned by Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Falkner, who were in Calgary at the time. None were injured. Clubs of America. Oscar R. Hanson is Property Master (secretary) and Ben S. Okun the Dough Boy (treasurer).
