Harvey Hunt Quits
Famous for Odeon
Harvey Hunt has resigned from the head office booking staff of Famous Players, effective July 30th, and will join the booking and buying department of Odeon Theatres.
He’s been with FPCC for 15 years, coming to that company when it acquired the KeithAlbee, now the Capitol, Ottawa, of which he was assistant manager.
Harvey was transferred to the ad department on coming to Toronto and about five years later became a booker.
He will work with Frank Fisher, department chief.
Joe Plottel Quits WB, Pearlman Succeeds
Joe Plottel has resigned as Toronto branch manager for Warner Brothers Pictures, according to an announcement from New York by Ben Kalmenson, general sales manager, and has been succeeded by Sam Pearlman, for

Odeon Theatres of Canada Limited has purchased the Odeon and Metro theatres in New Westminster, BC. Both were being operated by the Odeon circuit under lease. Odeon is strongly represented on the coast.
