Paul to Brantford Following Change Joe Paul, veteran Dominion theatre manager, has been transferred by Twentieth Century Theatres from the Park, Welland, Ontario, to the Esquire, Brantford, succeeding Harry Soloman. The Brantford theatre is one of a number now wholly operated as Twentieth Century Theatres’ units but which, until recently, were held in partnership with Firestone Enterprises. Paul started as a salesman for Regal in 1918. Later he sold film in British Columbia. Canada 20th-Fox in Regional Session A complete analysis of the 1945-46 sales schedule and policy was outlined by Sydney Samson, general manager for Canada of Twentieth Century-Fox, before the Eastern Canada meeting of the company at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Montreal, on 13th and 14th. Samson itemized the prozram, discussing each feature individually, then described the short subject schedule, which September includes the March of Time. Im-’° portant problems involving the sale of the new program to unsold situations came in for thorough discussion. The three Hastern offices were personally thanked by Samson for their accomplishments during the last drive.
