"The Enchanted Forest' Is Cinecolor Hit RC’s “The Enchanted Forest” is an outdoor drama photographed in Cinecolor against a background of primeval grandeur. Separated from its mother in a train wreck, a baby is brought up as a child of nature by animals and a kindly hermit. Thus the scene is set for an enjoyable movie filled with pine-scented charm. Romance between the child’s widowed mother and a physician, and the depredations of a lumber baron add substance to the plot. Edmund Lowe, Brenda Joyce, Billy Severn and Harry Davenport fulfill the top roles in a convincing manner. This picture has been described as a Walt Disney feature come to life. It may well prove to be the season’s surprise. > eres ah
