Atkinson of General Films as its exclusive distributor in Canada. “Jeep Herders,” “Detour to Danger” and “The | People’s Ohoice” are the first group of a scheduled 12, the last-mentioned film--to be released in January. The company also produces shorts. The films, of all types, are made to meet standards of schools and churches. NFBoard’s Rentals $100,000 Yearly The House of Commons is waiting to hear the answers to a series of questions by Thomas Reid, member for New Westminster, Newton, British Columbia, which will bare current, annual and total operating expenses of the Na tional Film Board since its inception. One question, reflecting previous enquiries along the same line, asks what work has been done for government departments and at what individual costs. NFB financing was a subject of considerable debate in two past sessions, members insisting that its annual report be consolidated to reveal complete costs and the size of the staff. At present work done in behalf of a government department is shown only in the report of that department.
