B.C. Salamis Was Honored Also
The news came to us late for the previous issue that B. C. Salamis, popular Quebec Independent theatre operator, had been honcred by the Greek Red Cross with its Silver Medal for his great work.
Salamis was secretary of the Greek War Relief Fund in Canada and its representative in dealings with other. countries—an important part because of Canada’s prominence in aiding the Greeks.
George Ganetakos, Montreal, chairman, was also honored with the medal.

J. M. Kennedy Passes In Montreal At 63
Manager of Famous Players’ real estate department in Montreal, James M. Kennedy, with the circuit in various capacities since 1923, passed away in that city last week at 63.
He started as treasurer of the St. Denis Theatre, going later to the Capitol. Prior to heading the real estate department he was supervisory treasurer for the Loew’s Capitol, and Palace.
At one time Mr. Kennedy managed the Imperial Theatre.
