Pioneers Mark The Diamond Jubilee
On the right are scenes related to The Diamond Jubilee of the Silver Screen in Canada, which was celebrated by the motion picture industry earlier this year. It was sponsored by the Canadian Picture Pioneers.
The top photo shows the luncheon in Vancouver, at which Attorney-General the Hon. Robert Bonner, QC, was the guest speaker. President Harry Howard is shown at the microphone.
The second photo shows Montreal Pioneers with Walter Pidgeon, Saint John native who is a Hollywood star.
