Ever since I saw Forty Thousand Horsemen, an epic of Anzac troops in World War I, back in the early 1940s, I've had a soft spot for Australian movies, So, when John Gleeson of Vancouver sent along a list of Australian movies made between 1899 and 1961, originally published in Film Weekly, we thought it would be interesting to reprint the list here, in instalments of course, --P.H.
