A detective, masquerading as an actress, succeeds in landing the "Johnnies" in jail, but Snub escapes, to have the "Johnny" field to himself. "Pardon Me" No. C 98 One Reel $1.75 The Governor and his daughter visit the jail where Snub, the girl's sweetheart has been confined by mistake. The next day Snub escapes by attacking the guard and changing clothes with him. Snub finds his pardon in the pocket of the guard's coat, but, captured, faces a long sentence for attacking the officer. Paul, a rookie fire-fighter, armed with a ladder, is chosen to protect the town. His daring ventures into the flaming building are successful and he saves the landlord's daughter's most precious possession — a little pup.
