We use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) during our scanning and processing workflow to make the content of each page searchable. You can view the automatically generated text below as well as copy and paste individual pieces of text to quote in your own work.

Text recognition is never 100% accurate. Many parts of the scanned page may not be reflected in the OCR text output, including: images, page layout, certain fonts or handwriting.

This is an A-B-C book as functional as a telephone directory THIS CATALOG has been carefully constructed in order to make it a simple matter for every¬ one— music lover, jazz fan, music student, school teacher, bobby soxer, hillbilly enthusiast, or swing addict— to find the selection he wants im¬ mediately. Our primary purpose is to afford facility and speed in finding your listings. There are only two sections in the catalog: 1. TITLE SECTION 2. RED SEAL SECTION The contents of the book are arranged alpha¬ betically throughout, and a copious cross index¬ ing system is provided so that there are many places from which to trace your desired record. In all listings of titles, composers or artists, the foreign prefixes and articles (de, d', le, la, V, les, il, i, las, los, der, die, das, un, une, ein, eine, uno, una) and English articles (a, an, the) should be disregarded. Look for the alphabetical listing of the word immediately following the article or prefix. For example "The Birds" would be found under "B" not "T."
