In time, Doris convinces this chap to make the paper a great success without the scandal. A fine story, with comedy relief. Stars Lila Lee, Tully Marshall, Arthur Byron, and a cunning office boy. 3. The Phantom Express— 7 reels. A thrilling story of railroads and engineers that will keep the audience spellbound until the gripping climax. Racing moguls of the rails, collisions, washouts, bridges out, floods, landslides — before the mystery of the "phantom" express is cleared up. Stars Wtn. Collier, Jr., Hobart Bosworth, Sally Blane, Eddie Phillips, Lina Basquette, and J. Farrel MacDonald in his finest drama. 4. Via Pony Express — 6 reels. Jack Ho-xie and the wonder horse. Dynamite. Packed with action. The story concerns the seizing of the original Spanish land grants by the Government. The hero is a pony express rider who enters accidentally into a plot to abduct the heroine. By means of a clever ruse, he thwarts the evil doers and saves the heroine. Fine riding and clever settings make this a very enjoyable story. 5. Hearts of Humanity — 7 reels. A gripping drama of Young America in the slums of a great city. Stars Jean Hersholt, Jackie Searle. Claudia Dell, Charles Delaney, J. Farrell MacDonald. Lucille La Verne. John Vosburg. Dick Wallace. Pathos and humor, and a gi"eat story make it outstanding. 6. Laughing at Life — 7 reels. Stars ^'ictor MacLaglen. the "glorified soldier of fortune' and an all star cast including Lois Wilson, Regis Toomey, William Boyd. Ruth Hall. Noah Beery, Frank Darro, Pat O'Malley, Tully Marshall, Big Boy Williams, Henry Walthall, Edmund Breeze, Otis Harlin, Dewey Robinson, 7.
