Text recognition is never 100% accurate. Many parts of the scanned page may not be reflected in the OCR text output, including: images, page layout, certain fonts or handwriting.

THE SAINTS AT WORK dislikes in its censoring. Kansas suppresses nose-thumbing; Maryland, neck-kissing; Virginia, untoward remarks. Pennsylvania rises above them all in ingenuity. Not only does this board cut at will, but they create their own art, and no man could accuse them of being nonconstructive critics. The following examples give ample proof of the fertile, creative spirit of the Pennsylvania board. They ordered these changes in "The Barker." For title: "I've got a quart of white mule and a pair of purple bloomers I've been saving for a night like this," substitute: "I've got a quart of bootleg gin I've been saving for a night like this." For : "Ever since that night in the peach orchard I feel that we belong to each other," substitute: "Right at the first time I saw you I knew that I was not going to be able to help loving you." For : "It made a bum out of me and now it's sent my boy to hell," substitute : "It's wrecked my life and now it's sent my boy to hell." 53
