In other words, you are not asked to buy an electric refrigerator because it will keep the ginger ale cold, but because electricity is man's greatest work since the machine gun, because it is relieving man's burden. You are not asked to buy an automobile as a means of conveyance, but because a few altruistic engineers worked in a monastery for nine years to perfect a convertible rumble seat. You are not advised to buy a cigarette because 131
