Deux anglais, dont l'un s'est épris de Mêla se mettent à la poursuite de la fugitive et jurent de la retrouver. Ils y parviennent grâce à l'aide d'un éléphant domestiqué qui sauve sa jeune maîtresse à la minute où elle va succomber sous l'étreinte d'un léopard, et c'est le jeune anglais qui la ramène pour le plus grand désespoir de Hans. Ce film est le quatrième de la Série des Grands Animaux si merveilleusement éditée par la Selig. Film d'un intérêt exceptionnel. & -A
