Á pesar de contar con muchas escenas increíbles y traídas de los cabellos, este film resultará interesante y entretenido a la mayoría de los espectadores. Armstrong, en su carácter de repórter, se encuentra con Ann Sothern, una rica joven de alta sociedad, cuya mala disposición e irascibilidad la distinguen. Como en su primer encuentro Armstrong resulta victorioso, ella decide vengarse de él, caracterizando una doncella tímida de quien él se enamora locamente. Como resultado de sus labores de reportaje, Armstrong recibe amenazas de una pandilla de gangsters a quienes ha delatado en su periódico. El desenlace contiene muchas sorpresas y situaciones emocionantes aunque fantásticas. Con Benny Baker, Minna Gom bell, Purnell Pratt, Charles Wilson, J. Loretta Young, joven aristócrata, regresa a las tierras feudales a recibir su herencia y es recibida como a una reina por sus vasallos, que hacía años no la habían visto. Es la época de la cosecha de uvas y hay grandes fiestas en que participa una banda de gitanos. Una de las cláusulas de la herencia es que Loretta se case y su tío, C. Aubrey Smith, insiste que se case con su hijo, Phillip Holmes, teniente de húsares, que debía estar presente pero que no llega. Loretta se niega a casarse con un extraño a quien nunca ha visto y por despecho se casa con el jefe de los gitanos, Charles Boyer, intentando más tarde divorciarse. Hay gran algazara, música y bailes, llegando algo tarde el militar ausente iniciándose una serie de acontecimientos y llegando a un feliz desenlace. Con Jean Park, Louise Fazenda.
