Fué una imponente y significativa ceremo” nia, á la que la asistencia oficial del ceobierno, prestó más importancia y más decisivo caracter. Pronunciaron entusiastas discursos los señores Oscar Miró Quesada, Monoe, Prado y Ugarteche, Lavalle, Be Le laúnde y Pasquel. Y el señor José Pardo, aún presidente de la república, uno largo y lleno de promesas. Que éstas, destinadas á cumplirse por quién hoy le sucede, redlman la pecaminosa extensión de la pieza oratoria. En la noche del mismo día inagural, realizóse en el comedor del Centro un eran banquete, el primero de la larouísima serie de banquetes que preparan los jóvenes estudiantes. En la Secretaría del Centro, severa habitación sencillamente amueblada, trabajan los miembros de la directiva, organizando la marcha de la simpática institución.
