CINEMA EN THEATER 2 HET PETZ- KAIN ER-BALLET Het Petz-Kainer-ballet is op zijn terrein iets bijzonders. Men behoeft de beeltenissen slechts aan te zien om tot deze overtuiging te komen. Men heeft hier een vereeniging van dans, kleur en lijn. Ludwig Kainer toch is de ontwerper van de costumes, die steeds in har- n^,*i» «. i orden gehouden met den geschilderden achtergrond, ’t Is een ontroerende eenheid van scheppingen. Ellen Petz is de hoofdfiguur uit het dans-esemble, gedeeltelijk nog een aanhangster van de oude ballet- school, gedeeltelijk een ijverig beoefenaarster van demodernedanskunst. Haar partner is Sascha Leontjew, een talentvol danser, terwijl verder van het ballet nog deel uitmaken Nelly van Olden, Malanie Dames. Hedwig Brumof en Genia Nikolaleva. Het aanschouwen van dit ballet geeft wel de hoogste bevrediging aan de schoonheidsgevoelens.
