5 CINEMA EN THEATER in Ann Hausinger hebben we een kunstenares met de luit, die er mag zijn. Men heeft dit zelf mogen constateeren bij een bezoek aan net Amsterdamsche cabaret La Gaité, waar ze is opgetreden. Deze luitspeelster is een geboren Duitsche. Ze komt uit Weimar en is er verbonden geweest aan het theater. Ze was toen actrice. Maar W eimar bood haar natuurlijk niet alles, wat ze als artiste verlangde-Ze wilde verder zien, ze wilde leeren en zoo kwam ze ook in Bremen en in Köni gsberg. Dat had met elkaar een zestal jaren van haar leven in j beslag genomen. Maar na afloop van deze jaren bij het tooneel ging ze naar het cabaret over. De kleinkunst had haar aangetrokken. En ze heeft er ongetwijfeld geen spijt van gehad, want ’t heeft haar j vele artistieke triomfen bezorgd. Ze is niet alleen in Duitschiand op- getreden — te Berlijn en ie Miinchen — maar niet minder groot was haar succes in Zwitserland te Zurich en in Denemarken te j Kopenhagen. Nu is ze in ons land en met haar kunst heeft ze velen genoeglijke uren bezorgd- i /% *
