Go In New Locale MONTREAL—From August 22 to Sept. 1, Montreal will host the fourth annual World Film Festival. Confirmation was. forthcoming from festival direc“tor Serge Losique. Giving few details, Losique announed via press release that the three levels of government have “joined their efforts with | those of the festival to assure its permanence, not just for 1980 but for the years to come.” In a surprise move, the headquarters of the festival have been moved from the Hotel Méridien to the Windsor. Screenings will be held, as they were last year, at United Theatres’ fiveplex, Le Parisien. This will mean a considerable distance separates the Film Market at the Windsor from the screen _ ings. Opening and closing ceremonies will be held at Place des ~ Arts.
