St. Louis.—Last week was a record breaker at the Summer gardens from the standpoint of attendance, and the patrohs said a lot of complimentary things about the quality ot tne various attractions. Josephine Newman did excellent work, par- ticularly In the "Uosy rosy" song. Arthur Witltclaw, Blllle Taylor and Harry Walters made good in their parts. The Kaufman Troupe succeeded In thrilling the audiences with bi- cycle work, .which Is a hard thing to do In these days. West End Heights (Ben Williams, mob- nger).—Kelly and Keno were featured In last week's bill, and made a hit with gym- nastic work. Fox and Foxle were also well received.
