PnocTon and ins nitinB wore In an toutnmobllo accident on Saturday afternoon, June 4. which resulted In a painful, though not serious Injury to Mr. Proctor, and a few bruises to ills wife. The accident happened about a mile and a half outside of Rahway, N. J., while the couple were proceeding in the automobile from that place to Atlantic City. Mr. Proctor, In trying to avoid a col- lision with n buggy, which was driven by two ladles, turned too sharply and wrenched the tire olt one wheel of the auto, whereupon the machine overturned Into a deep ditch, throwing him about seven feet In the road- way, nnd carrying Mrs. Proctor over the em- bankment. Mr. Proctor received a bad frac- ture of the left nnklc, but Mrs. Proctor for- tunately sustained only a few bruises.
