The Olu Reliable reaches us on time and Is largely read. Walsh's Cicystalplex Cabnival has just closed a pleasant and profitable season of forty weeks in New England. Mr. Walsh writes that his company will be entirely new for the season of 1905-0(1. Nam viiom E. G. Smith's Colossal Shows. —We opened on April 2-, and have liccn showing to turnaway crowds, having (inly one day's losing business. The show will enlarge on July 8, at Snowshoe, Pa., by adding six head of horses and eight Welsh ponies, one new hand wagon, two tablcuux wagons, a cage of monkeys and a dog cage. The Loganton German Band of twelve pieces has been hired for the rest of season. We will work Western Pennsylvania, West Vir- ginia and Virginia until Dec. 1. DEATHS IN THE PROFESSION. CONNECTICUT. Denth of William J. Fielding. William J. Fikluino, the well known the- atrical manager, died from heart disease on the trulu, about 5.30 P. M., June 27, while •mi bis way to his home, 415 Beech Street, Itlchniond Hill, L. I. He was apparently In the best of health when he left his office at l.iwt liroadwny, and spoke cheerily with some of his co-wcrkers. When the train was mattes Iticlunond Mill the conductor at- tempted to arouse him and discovered that lie was dead. The body was removed tem- porarily to the morgue in Jamaica.
