The Santa Cruz <odge of Klks purchased two hundred and fifty tickets, and their seats were specially decorated for the occasion. Tbe Merchants' Association of Santa Cruz also aided in mak- ing the opening of the show a success, by closing their stores for the day, so that their employees and patrons could have tbe oppor- tunity of witnessing the performances, Ac- counts of the opening of tbe show state that the programme of performances, as arranged by Equestrian Director Prank Miller, was carried through without a hitch or change of any kind, and every member who bad signed for the new season was on band.
