Lively, contortionist and band bal- ancer, while spending a few weeks at home, after closing a successful season with the Great Barlow Minstrels, was made a B. P. O Elk, In the Slatersvllle, W. Va., Lodge. No. 883. Lively will play the parks this Summer; having the entire time all booked. Joiin Baxtbb Informs us that while sing- ing at Palm Garden, Canton, 0., a fire de- stroyed the building, and he lost eighty seta of song slides, also a new Power's camera- graph, with 5,000 feet of Alms. This will be my first time In the Bast, after fifteen years on the Pacific coast" Dali and O'Bbiin write: "We will present a new act next season In vaudeville, entitled The Jungle Shop,' written by Mr. Daly. The entire act will be In 'one,' carrying o'ur own special drop. The characters portrayed by us will be novel, and serve to Introduce our original creation, 'tanglefoot' dancing." the Misses Dudley have gone to their home In Florence, South Carolina, for the Summer. Beginning in August they have fifty weeks booked over the Keith A Proctor circuit, In their new sketch, "A Fish Story," by Walter Woods. Quigq, Mackbt and Nickebson write: "After paying the entire Keith, Orpheum and Kohl & Castle circuits, we ere playing for Mr. Hopkins, as a special feature, on his circuit of Southern parks. We were the second headllners at the Haymarket Chi- cago, the last week of the season, and were the last act to play In the bouse, as we successfully closed the show, after following two other musical acts. We are booked solid by the Western Vaudeville Association, until the Summer of 1908." Lewis and Thompson, singing, dancing and talking comedians, are playing a few nark dates, bat will shortly return to New York, to start rehearsing with the Merry Maiden Burlesquers, for next season. Ma. and Mbs. Frank Colton and Baby Colton left Hot Springs, Ark., after a seven weeks' rest, and visit with Mr. Cotton's father, better known as Pop Fretwell, the old showman. Mr. Colton writes: "We are working our way East to our home In Newark, N. J., where we lay off for the Summer. We have signed with one of the wheel burlesque shows for next season. Baby Colton was two years old Decoration Day. She got a grip full of presents, the main one being an emerald ring from George Harris, of Chicago." Dainty Dorria Dale and Fmmr, Dale are meeting with success with their comedy sketch, "As Children See Us." For five weeks they were the special feature with the Acme Vaudeville Co., playing towns In Pennsyl- vania. They played the Silverman Bros.' circuit as a special attraction. While play- ing this circuit they were sent to Tyrone, l's., as a special feature for the opening of Silverman Bros.' new house, the Academy of Music. Week of May 27, they were the special feature with the Perm Amusement Co. "a Big Show, at Lock Haven. Tommy Hayes, after a successful week at Henderson's, Coney Island, N. Y., June 3, where he reports making one of the hits of the bill, will rest for a few weeks at his home in East Providence, R. I. Oxford Lake Park, Annlston, Ala., will open Its season the week of June 24. It Is the intention of the manager, Ludlow Allen, to engage more people and give a longer per- formance this season than Ess been given In the past. The theatre has been repainted and remodeled Inside, the stage made larger, and many other Improvements made for the bene- fit of performers and the audiences. This Is the eighth season with this popular resort, with never a performance missed, and this season Is expected to eclipse any In the past Baby Esmond, child actress and vocalist, is repeating her former triumphs at the Pas- time Palace Theatre, Atlanta, Ga. The American Newsboys' Quartette (Laird, Ford, Gehrloger and Click), write that they will continue with the Rowland & Ulfrord attractions the coming season, using a flashy ihree sheet, and under their old manager. Dave Seymour. The Omkoa Trio (Ahl, Crowley and Alii). writes: "We have been busy In vaudeville olnce October, 1006, with only one week lay off, during the holidays, and are booked solid for six weeks over the Eastern Park circuit.
