James Rowland, who Is •encoded to be a first claaa alnflor comedian, Uvea ap to his reputation, and rendered sertral eongs In good voice, to many encores. As Tlmotby OTlaherty, to created roam of laughter. Cbi>. Avellng, in a German character, Is aa fanny a oomedlam as has tTer been seen here. He Is strong enough to be featured, and no doubt will bo gobbled up by some enterpris- ing manager. Carrie Bebr wsa happily cast and gave a fine performance. At A sonbrette. Anna Belle la all there, having looks and a good figure that will ■erre her snccemfaliy for many yean to • come. Helen Ely was teen aa a JOTenlle, and was very capable. George May, as the straight man, looked and acted the part to perfection. The balance of the company was well east and gave good accounts of themselves. Ubby Blondell, as a dashing actress, was as charming as ever. The musical numbers were all pnt on in excellent style, showing that no expense haa been spared. Principally among them were •Want Me Back," featured by Geo. Mayo, to several encores. "If It Comes Your Way" was rendered by Chas. Avellng, and It waa one of the successes of the show, the audi- ence making him repeat it several times. A specialty In the way of one song, called "I Want One as Good as Father Had, 1 ' by Llbby Blondell, was a big encore winner. "Love Me" was also a good number, and was sung In good voice by Belen Illy, assisted by tbo chorus In handsome costumes. James Rowland demonstrated his superior voice wltb a song called "Coupon Song," which earned him much applause. The Kltamura Troupe of japs was engaged as a special feature, and duplicated the suc- cess they made recently at an uptown bouse. The barrel Juggling, pole work and acrobatic stunts were well performed. The second act, which shows the board walk at Atlantic City, made a pretty scene. The fun making and rendering of many songs again met with the approval of the audience, and was heartily enjoyed. The show is a very good one, and should do ca- pacity business during this engagement. s HERE AND T HERE M BlMRSfF. cuiprm comam by olio. Bvbbt Mobh I BniMo Turn Violbtb, fresh from Newark, N. J.
