The tour so far has been more or leas adversely effected by Inclement weather, but a splen- did route has been booked, and as soon as atmospheric conditions become normal there Is no reason why the Miller Shows should not reap a rich harvest, Decatur was "Wiled to a finish" *y the Miller forces and had tbe "carnival war" materialized there would have been plenty of excitement. KRAUSE GREATER SHOWS. Making Plalnfield, N. J„ his initial town, Man- ager Ben. Krause, with hla dosen high class at- tractions, opened Monday, May 0, to a capacity Crowd. The show Is tiptop from start to finish, and Is noticeably bare of any gambling or ob- jectionable shows. The whole town seemed to have paid them a visit on the opening day, as the bunch hadn't got through counting money when Thb Ourrsa repre- sentative looked things over Tuuralsy evening. Mr. Krsnee himself acted a* guide, and we took In everything on the lot The first snow we took In was J. F. Murphy's busy little city ot about a thousand different ob- jects an run by electricity. We then Journeyed down tbe pike, and strolled Into Frank Framfette'a wonderful collection of horse flesh, where be feature* "Dnpoot," tbe horse with a five foot main and tall. The ele- phant skin horse waa » remarkable special, and attracted throngs. Steve Mills Seven la One, end his "Trip to Mara" were also two attractions that were getting a good share of the people. Tbe dog, monkey and pony show pleased both young and old, as did tho craay house. "Otwr- its," tbe show beautiful, did a land office busi- ness all evening. As the show now stands, it Is s difficult one to beat, hardly an attraction of any kind usually seen with a show or this kind being emitted. The crowds were high In their praise of every attraction, tbe general verdict being that every- body wae getting more than their mooey'a worth. A glance at tho stair Mr. Krause haa surrounded himself will show tbat nothing haa stood In the way of getting some of the best la tbo bis.
