COLUMBIA CONCERT, Tbe Sunday show at the Columbia 20, bad seToral new features aod some old favorites. Tbe Todd Narda, acrobats, gave an interesting exhibition of athletic-prowess, tbe onderstasder handling fete collaborator with perfect ease In the leaps tnd balances on hand feet snd head. A springboard replaced a third party and .sent the touiaoiinter flying to tbe various positions, tbe last being to tbe head with both feet. Pan) Florins played opera and ragtime on the xylophone without missing ' a single tap. La Berenade." "Zampa," "International Bag," with medley of national sirs and a "Hungarian Bag," mado up his repertoire; all well played. Bernard and Harrington, ss a newly married couple, came on Just from the theatre, evidently furious st each other. It developed that he bad paid mora attention to a lody In a box than to his wife, or tbe play. The varying episodes of love- making and furious outbreaks, with a lively dla- loinio throughout, hold the close attention. When a note arrived for the husband from Peart, we thought 'here would be murder, but It turned oat to bo from old pal, Johnny Pearl. He Is Died to call up (ho Mrs. as Nellie, to giro hubby a chance for an eruption, ai.d he baa it The telephone operator gives tbe snap away to wide, and mother volcano spouts. Then business of leaving home, but coining back repentant, and bnbby u axed oomforlsbly In the firelight. Tbe team put this offering over in fine shape. The foregoing three acta gave Bob Jefferlea ■notorial for a bright, snappy dlsertation on vaudeville as you see It, snd In fairly well es- tablished rhymery he recounts the episodes shown in them, a novel style of reviewing what bud fine before him, and cleverly at that. He then roprovlscd three verses about persons in the au- dience, starting In with Mr. Oolllna, the English agent, in a box, then addressing himself to nn "angel" In the balcony, to the chorus tune of "I See That You Are Married." He then sings of other people lu orchestra and balcony, but tor each cborus reverts to the aforessld angel, admonishing her If she sneaks In her sleep to mention his name. Mr. Jefferles is a plesalng entertainer. Ohas. Mack and company are here again with their offering, "Back to Erin," with its pretty set and running water effect. Besides Mrs. Muck as the sweet singer and tbe nimble dancer, Mr. Mack bad the eaststanoc of Jack Oonroy, whom all remember as a peer of Irish comedians, and who, as Kerrigan, livened up the port of tbe old kneepaut Irishman In bin own clever fashion. Tbe eld lady also was effective. Mr. Msck ,as usual, sang his Jlngly tune and ployed the bagpipe well. Mrs. Muck sung "Wesrlng of the Green" and "Oome Back to Erin," and pounded the stage to tbe crooning of Mack and Oonroy. and the act made a digger bit than ever. Torti and Lovalll, operatic duo. with excellent voices, did not choose their openlug selection very wisely, commencing too slowly, but in their suhsc- fliiont solos ami ducts did better, snd finished to good applause from those who ltked good sing- ing. ■ ■ McDnvItt, Kelly and Lucy, as the two piano trovers nod the actress, duplicated their hits mado on former appearances here, and tbe ridiculous appearance and funny actions of the two piano jilaycTB and dancers, coupled with the clever act- ing and natty appearance in tights of Lucy, marked them "O. K." for any old time, as the "Jury" would say. Koter's dogs dosed the vaudeville. Several finely trained balancing ikijii on front and hind legs wore put through their psces, all working well, especially one snappy little pet. The climax of the act was the, performance of tbe terrier, announced as "the only slack wire dog," who walked the slsck rone stiewaya for a considerable distance, and kept his balance during the swing, hong ou In several styles and nulsbed on bind feet on the rope. "Surely a clever pup." The dogs were well worked by Mr. noser and Mb lady ersdstant, and seemed to like tho work. A moving picture concluded. Mill, »« 4» WHITE RATS DANCE. The Informal dance given at the clnb house. Thanksgiving eve, Nov, 20, was a big success, snd all the young Rata snd their young friends, also quite a few old Rata, went to tbe crash that covered the gymnasium and clnbroom Boor, and waltsed and two-stopped gallantly with their ladles. Downstairs, tbe cabaret was kept going, and everybody enjoyed themselves, Tbe White Rats Minstrel Show, under the direc- tion of George Botaford, Is down for a big event, Dec. 0. I i » no. aa notes. Savage wUl feature Mlsxl Hajoa with tho production. ," ;' We won't say that every act is sing ing "YOU DID," for if they were we would not take this space to tell you of its mer- its, but, we do say that there are more different kinds of top line acts singing it than ever sang a song before. So that is why we say it is the song for you. "YOU DID" is made for you. It will put the audi- ence feeling so good about you that they will get you back, yes, back again and again, to sing the chorus over. That is the song you want. So what is the use of saying anything more about it. Just send for it and sing it so we can say YOU DID YOU KNOW YOU DID YOU KNOW DARN WELL YOU DID It is by GILBERT and MUIR. That in itself is enough to stamp it as a knockout. It is out in all sorts of forms. A GREAT DOUBLE. Glides, Medley, Two- Step. Vocal Orch. in All Keys, etc. F. A.
