The theme of the picture is the decline of a working family as a result of the drunkenness of the father — a workman. It is based on the life of the tramway workers in Tiflis ; the local press and the workers Avho have witnessed it have recognized the artistic achievements and the social significance of the picture. * * CENTRAL SOVKINO FACTORY.
