Pioneer life, early methods of transportation, a Mississippi River steamboat and plantation life in the Old South are seen. 83250 Life in the Sahara 1 Reel Illustrates nomadic life in the desert, with scenes of camp life, a journey by caravan to the oasis market place, busy bazaars, lively bartering, a mosque, and the return of loaded Cciravans. 83251 Chile 1 Reel The scattered settlements, native Indian life, lumbering and sheep raising in rugged South Chile ; the copper and nitrate industries of arid North Chile ; fertile Central Chile with its harvests of wheat and grapes, Santiago, Valparaiso and the route of the Trans-Andean Railroad are in turn depicted. 83253 The New South 1 Reel In contrast to "The Old South" (No. 83247) this film shows the industrial towns of the Southern States and, in particular, the rapid progress of Florida.
