The Ship from d'Annunzio well-known screen epic ; The Miracle ofthe Jungle,thegreat Selig animal serial, are to be counted amongst a score of other big films produced by the Paramount Pictures, Unione Cinematographique Italiana, and the Svenska Film. The « Atlantide » The firm of L. Aubert, the well-known Parisianfilm renter has bought for a very important sum of money this wonderful picture, produced by Jacques Feyder. There was a wery large attendance at the exhibitors trade show ofthe Atlantide, which was held last Tuesday at the « AubertPalace », boulevard des Italiens. Many peoples were unable to get a seat,thought it was notsobad thanitwasatthe tradeshowgivenat the«GaumontPalace » some time ago. That shortning will not affect much the story and it will give more grip in the action. The general opinion amongst the public is that the picture will have a tremendous success in France. Its international settings, its good photography, and fine acting, leaving asside the scenario, which is quiet an uncommon one, make this photoplay a first class proposition for the markets abroad. French forthcoming productions The big success in France of Gigolette “which was produced by the « Société d’Editions Cinématographiques» is to be continued by this firm with two new pictures. One L’Arlésienne, taken from the well known novel by Alphonse Daudet, is to be produced bythegreat French artist M.Antoine, the other, La Baillonnée. from the novel by Pierre Decourcelle, will be produced in two epoques by M. Charles Burguet. « Nick Winter » in a new serial The famous and popular film détective, Nick Winter, is appearing in a new serial which will appeal to any audience.Its good photography and the deep interest which develops in the course of the action put that film amongst those the people like to follow as it make one feel...I must come to see. the next episode.
