She follows him and arrives just in time to receive a glancing blow as Fargo shoots at Taunton. The injur}' is slight, but the shock serves to restore her memory and former personality. Fargo's activities are stopped and Lenore and Taunton are happily married.

Arline is the little daughter of Count Arnheim, governor of an Austrian province who lives in feudal splendor near a forest where a Gypsy queen and her tribe encamp.
