The dog, 'Caesar', through circumstantial evidence, has been accused of being a killer and of ravaging the sheepherders' flocks. The dog's master being found dead, the animal is outlawed and hunted like a wild beast. Taking refuge in the woods, the dog mates with a she-wolf and raises a family. A trio of Chicago crooks, after they have stolen Pierre's bag of money, are revealed as detectives pro- tecting it.
