It will also help teachers and leaders see more clearly the relation of the effective use of audio-visual materials in religious education. It is highly recommended for these uses. Its technical and content c]ualities are good, and it can be an effective teaching tool in the hands of director, ministers, and chairmen of church A-V committees. Singing Praises Sitifiitig Praises to Jesus is a filmstrip telling the story of the Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem as it might have appeared to a small boy, Joel. It shows him going with his family with Jesus and his disciples to Jerusalem. He tells us what jesus said about the Heavenly Father's love for all his creatures, especially man. It ends with Jesus riding into the city and up to the Temple. It is beamed at children 6 to 12 years of age. The pictures are acceptable and the script good. It is to be used with boys and girls and teenagers to point out the importance of this Creed in their daily lives. The filmstrip takes up Jim, the .soldier, and shows how the Creed gives him a solid base for his faith. Next we see teenager Susan finding out how the Creed came to be. Lastly, we see Bill, teenager with journalistic ambitions, learning that the Creed binds him to fellow Christians, far and near and of all colors and conditions. The photography is satisfactory; the commentary very good. It is recommended for use with confirmation classes and for general use with the youth of the church.
