I wish I could tell you how beautiful Mysore is, Patriarchal and what a serene, lovely atmosphere broods over a ut0Pia ravishing landscape and over the lovely city itself, like a spiritual benediction. It is the very heart of a man, the ruler, the Maharajah; the glowing beacon means his presence here in his city watching over his people. I never thought to live in patriarchal times — to go so far back in history — to experience a patriarchal Utopia. But everything here has something of the magic and poetry of legend in it.
