The convention was highlighted with many outstanding events, including a board¬ walk parade which was said to outdo even the famous beauty pageant parades held each September. A number of govern¬ ment notables and film celebrities were honored guests at the convention, which was headquartered at the Hotel Traymore. May 21, 1941
