8 THE EXHIBITOR Special teen-age promotions with newspapers, schools, radios, etc., helped build this line of youngsters at the Colony, Miami Beach, for the film. The Chicago Daily News held a "Keen Teen Miracle Contest." Prizes in¬ cluded a call from Miss Young. Winners here receive the varied gifts. A Chicago outdoor board used the new title, "Cary and the Bishop's Wife," when the production had its premiere engagement at the Essaness Woods. A "Miracle Contest" was also held in New York City for the engagement at the Astor. Bennett Cerf, noted publisher and author, judges some entries. Lucille Ball presents the top award, a scholarship bond, in New York's Astor to Elliott Sprechman during a teen-age affair emceed by CBS' Bill Leonard. May 26, 1948
