In a letter to the editor of The News Leader, Sam Bendheim, Jr., Neighbor¬ hood Group of Motion Picture Theatres, asked that the city’s plan to take over the fairgrounds be cut from the budget. He also mentioned that he believed the city’s continued operation of the tax free Mosque, which, he claims, is opposition to regular theatres, should end.
