In addition, through co-operation of several short subjects producers, other prizes have been made available. $50 for the best entry on a Metro subject $50 for the best entry on a Metro Pete Smith specialty (personally posted by Pete Smith ) . (Note: A contestant can, for example, win $100 by submitting the winning campaign on a Pete Smith Specialty, i. e., $50 from Metro, $50 from Smith) $50 for the best entry on a Vitaphone Floyd Gibbons subject. $50 for the best entry on any issue of The March of Time. $50 for the best entry on a RKO-Pathe subject. $50 for the best entry on a Walt Disney Mickey Mouse or Silly Symphony subject. $50 for the best entry on any Paramount subject. VALUABLE WORLD GLOBE for the best entry on a Columbia subject. ALREADY AWARDED "The Lone Ranger" Prizes, $25 from Republic Pictures Corporation for the best campaign and an Electric Shaver from the Jay Emanuel Publications for the second best campaign. READ THESE EASY RULES 1. This competition is open to all theatremen in the territories served by this publication. 2. Each campaign must pertain to but a single short subject. 3. Each campaign should cover any short subject (including serials) released from March, 1938, to March, 1939. 4. Contestants may submit as many campaigns on different short subjects as they desire, but each campaign must be presented individually. 5. Campaigns may be offered in any form suitable to the contestant. (In order to gain the best attention, the entry should be complete as possible, with pic tures, tear-sheets, heralds, etc.). G. The competition is now open. All entries must be in the hands of the judges on or before the close of business on March 1, 1939. 7. It is possible for a contestant to win more than one entry. 8.
